About Shir
Shir joined Kotlar Cohen in December 2025 and focuses her practice on workers’ compensation matters in New Jersey. Prior to joining the firm, she began her legal career practicing immigration law before transitioning to the defense side of workers’ compensation. This diverse background has strengthened her litigation skills and allows her to approach client advocacy with a well-rounded perspective.
Shir earned her B.A. in Legal Studies from Drexel University and her J.D. from Widener University Delaware Law School. She resides in Philadelphia and, outside of work, enjoys exploring the city’s food scene and trying new restaurants.
